Picky

Good evening everyone! Y’all know I’m always thinking about the weirdest things but I was wondering if I was the only one who felt this way. I’m sure everyone has that one or a few people who are always picking . When I say picking I mean always picking something about you to criticize  about.  It’s never a high first but ” why your face look like that?” Or “why this or why that”  that bothers me to the core. Why is it so important for people to always pick out your flaws? I don’t understand some people. When we were kids we looked different and now we are adults and we look different. We as people change. But that doesn’t mean we don’t know the changes our bodies have gone through. Trust I know exactly how I used to look and how I look now. lol I’m not that skinny teen anymore I’m a mother of 2 with a mothers body lol. I know my flaws but do I have to hear it everytime? Why do people feel the need to say something but can’t stand when someone picks out their flaws? Am I the only one who experience this?

  1. Some people are only too happy to project their own insecurities and issues onto others. I’ve experienced this before too sis. It’s really disheartening, especially when it comes from other black women. My mom always taught me not to give my power away to other people so I just remind myself that it’s THEIR issue and keep it pushing. You are a beautiful, generous, amazing wife, mother and friend. Don’t ever forget that!!!! xoxo
